Clarion Standards Involvement
Clarion is in a unique position to supply your company with the most up-to-date
"standards compliant" safety labels because we have had a long-standing commitment
to participating on the major safety label standards-writing committees.
The president of Clarion, Geoffrey Peckham, serves in leadership positions on these
committees with the goal of bringing about a degree of harmonization between U.S.
and international product safety labeling standards. Harmonized standards in this
area will give manufacturers the ability to choose, from a variety of safety label
formats, the appropriate formats for the products they sell to both U.S. and
international markets. The effort towards harmonization is ongoing; advances are
being made in every revision of the ISO and ANSI standards. This makes Clarion your
best source for safety labels that incorporate the latest in standards expertise.
