Because of our expertise in this area, Clarion has been contracted by specific industries over the years to develop sets of symbols for the equipment they manufacture. These symbols are also included in our library for use on your safety labels if you so choose. You can find these symbols by looking through our online catalog or by developing a custom safety label using Clarion LabelCAD™. If you don't see the symbol you need, we will develop it for you using the standardized drawing methods we have utilized to produce symbols for the standards. Unlike most safety label printers, Clarion uses high quality materials in its manufacturing process. We are one of the largest purchasers in the world of the specialized materials we purchase from 3M, the foremost name in adhesive-backed stocks. Our "standard" combination of materials are premium quality! Clarion Standard Premium Polyester safety labels are UL^® Recognized (UL^® File No. MH28561) and our company has been included in UL^®'s approved Marking and Labeling Systems manufacturing category (PGDQ2). View the PDF specification sheets for our standard premium quality 3M white polyester with 3M clear polyester overlaminate. Note the exceptional adhesion characteristics of the 3M #350 adhesive used on the white polyester base material - it is one of the best adhesives 3M has ever made for safety label stocks, rated to 300°F, and adheres to both metal and powder-coated painted surfaces. Other materials can be ordered including but not limited to aluminum, stainless steel, and polycarbonate.

From concept to design approval to finished safety labels, our turnaround time for new designs is the best in the industry. We really strive to meet your requirements and to earn your business and delivery is often a critical part of the order. At Clarion in-stock items will ship the same day if your order is placed before 2:00 EST. If you need us to ship UPS overnight your in-stock order, we can accept your order up to 4:00 EST. If your item is currently out-of-stock, typical turnaround time is five working days. If you need it faster, tell this to the Clarion customer service representative and we will check with production and call you back with our best delivery.

Clarion does not charge for the additional colors that appear on your safety labels due to the incorporation of mandatory action (blue/white), prohibition (red/black) and warning (yellow/black) symbols. Our "normal" press run is four colors so we don't pass on the additional setup charges associated with adding any of the standard safety colors. Furthermore, the design of custom safety labels is free. Design charges may apply to non-safety label designs.
